Our Hostess® Brand Helps Convoy of Hope Offer Support and Comfort When it’s Needed Most
As part of our commitment to support the communities where we live and work, we have established close strategic relationships with partners who share in our passion for helping others and bring unique capabilities to doing so. A great example of this is the long-term relationship between our Hostess® brand and Convoy of Hope.
Founded in 1994, Convoy of Hope was established to serve people who are impoverished, hungry, and hurting. The organization supports in the U.S. and around the world through everything from disaster relief to community programming.
In the U.S., Conoy of Hope sends truckloads of food and relief supplies from its distribution centers to cities and rural towns across the country. Internationally, the organization provides humanitarian aid to people in more than 40 countries.
To date in 2025, Convoy of Hope has provided support for 78 disasters in the U.S. and internationally. Importantly, the organization prioritizes holistic support and is committed to staying in each community to help with the long and arduous work of recovery post disaster. In addition, this year, Convoy of Hope’s Summer Feeding initiative served 152,500 children across 9 states, ensuring they had reliable access to food when school was out.
To aid this important work, our Hostess® brand provides regular product donations. Specifically, year to date, we have donated nearly 9,000 pallets of product and more than 158 truckloads.
These products are used as part of the regular community engagement the organization manages to support everyday needs, as well as offering a small sense of comfort and normalcy when individuals experience devastating tragedies.
