Robert Crane

Robert Crane has been elected to the role of Senior Vice President, Head of Sales and International.  In this role, Robert will continue to lead the Company’s sales and sales commercialization functions while taking on holistic oversight of the International business. Robert’s leadership ensures the continued productivity and high level of customer service the Company’s sales and sales commercialization disciplines have established as standard, while advancing a dedicated strategy to deliver growth and profitability for the International business.  

Robert brings more than 20 years of strategic sales leadership experience and a proven track record of developing teams that consistently deliver top-line growth and bottom-line profit performance across multiple business segments.  

Professional Highlights 

Robert joined Smucker in 2003 and has held sales leadership roles of increasing responsibility. He was named a Company Officer in 2023.  

Over the past several years, Robert has led the successful transformation of the Company’s sales and sales commercialization functions. He has inspired a focus on delivering best in class service, industry leading intelligence to guide category growth, and enhanced retail customer collaboration.  

Before joining the Company, Robert held leadership roles in sales at Conagra.  

Community Leadership 

Robert currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Akron, Ohio.  

Educational Background  

Robert earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Texas Tech University.
