Douglas Guilherme

Douglas Guilherme currently serves as Senior Vice President, Operations and Supply Chain. In this role, Douglas is responsible for advancing the Company’s commitment to operational and supply chain excellence across its end-to-end capabilities. 

Douglas brings more than 30 years of global operations and supply chain leadership experience spanning the consumer goods, food, and chemicals industries. He has established a proven track record of delivering sustainable business results by combining operational excellence, digital transformation, and people-first leadership to build high-performing teams.

Professional Highlights 

Prior to joining Smucker, Douglas served as Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain at The Hershey Company. At The Hershey Company, Guilherme led manufacturing, engineering, continuous improvement, planning, logistics, digital supply chain, and network strategy. He previously held leadership positions at Procter & Gamble and served as Global Senior Vice President of Supply Chain at Ecolab, a global leader in water, hygiene, and infection prevention solutions. 

Throughout his career, Douglas has maintained a commitment to leading in the areas of innovation, digital transformation, operational excellence, and team empowerment to drive the success of the businesses he serves. 

Industry Leadership

Douglas is the founder and a member of the Board of Directors for the Supply Chain Planning & Logistics Board as part of Board.org, an organization committed to building peer-to-peer communities for leaders driving meaningful change at the world’s biggest companies. In addition, Douglas has been recognized by Alcott Global among the Top Supply Chain Leaders to Admire.

Community Leadership 

Douglas currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota, a nonprofit that offers job training and customized career support to eliminate barriers to work and independence. In addition, he serves as Advisor for the Harrisburg University of Science and Technology Strategic AI program. 

Educational Background 

Douglas holds a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and biochemistry from the Universidade Paulista as well as a master’s degree in logistics and supply chain management and an MBA from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
