Rebecca Scheidler currently serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Frozen Handheld and Spreads, overseeing the Company’s Uncrustables® frozen sandwiches and its leading spreads category (led by its namesake Smucker’s® fruit spreads and Jif® peanut butter). In this role, Rebecca provides holistic oversight of the businesses, inclusive of operations, research and development, marketing, and finance. She has maintained the Company’s unwavering commitment to quality while inspiring meaningful product innovation, culturally relevant marketing, and a continuous improvement approach supporting enhanced productivity and profitability. Through her stewardship, the portfolio’s leading brands have retained share leadership in highly competitive categories while her teams have continued to identify opportunities for incremental growth.   

She is a proven global brand leader with more than two decades of experience shaping brand equity, driving successful product innovation, ensuring the optimization of strategic investments, and developing dedicated teams with strong capabilities.   

Professional Highlights 

Rebecca joined the Company in 2019 and has held leadership roles across the consumer food and pet businesses. She was named a Company officer in 2023. Rebecca has leveraged her deep experience in portfolio management, brand strategy and commercialization, product innovation, and sales and revenue growth to drive productivity and profitability.  

Before joining Smucker, Scheidler held leadership roles at the Kao Corporation and Bristol Myers Squibb. 

Industry Leadership  

Rebecca currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI). AFFI represents the farmers, fruit and vegetable growers, makers of prepared meals, suppliers, and distributors that deliver America’s frozen food and beverage products. She also serves on the Smucker Political Action Committee Board.  

Educational Background  

Rebecca earned a bachelor's degree in business management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana.
