America’s Iconic Sandwich Supports Team USA with Love, To Go™ and #PBJ4TeamUSA

Jif®, Smucker's®, and Smucker's® Uncrustables® Brands Donate
$100,000 to the United States Olympic Committee

Orrville, OH, (Jan. 8, 2018) – Proud sponsor of Team USA since 2013, the Jif®, Smucker's®, and Smucker's® Uncrustables® brands, today announced a donation of $100,000 to the United States Olympic Committee to support future Team USA athletes, and the continuation of the #PBJ4TeamUSA social media campaign. America’s iconic sandwich – the peanut butter and jelly (PB&J) – is more than a sandwich, it’s a tangible reminder of love and support that fuels families and athletes alike.

In celebration of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, the Jif, Smucker's, and Smucker's Uncrustables brands teamed up with U.S. Olympic gold medalist figure skater Meryl Davis, two-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist alpine skier Ted Ligety, U.S. Paralympic gold medalist para-snowboarder Evan Strong, and U.S. halfpipe skier Torin Yater-Wallace and freestyle skier McRae Williams to rally America to show their support through #PBJ4TeamUSA.

“Throughout my career, I’ve appreciated having a strong support system to help me accomplish my goals - which is why I’m excited to join the #PBJ4TeamUSA initiative that empowers fans to send their messages of love and support,” said Davis. “I have fond memories of eating PB&J while growing up, so it’s fun for me to join an effort that turns my passion – and all the personal meaning behind a PB&J sandwich- into support for Team USA and future Team USA athletes.”
